アメリカの首都ワシントンの警察によりますと、連邦議会議事堂の中で現地時間の6日午後、日本時間の7日朝早く銃で撃たれて手当てを受けていた女性1人が死亡したということです。
撃たれたときの詳しい状況はわかっていませんがアメリカのNBCテレビは死亡した女性は警備にあたっていた当局者に撃たれたと伝えています。
